"Save The Airfield"

Hello,

I don't know if you realise that one of Britain's most important World War 2 airfield's is under threat of DISAPPEARING.

Epping Forest District Council is going to develope the site. They are considering building;

upto 1000 houses

plus 91 acres of storage & distribution use

plus upto 4-5 acres of retail

plus a 100 bedroom hotel & conference centre.

The council, with the help of a "consultant firm", have drawn up a number of plans, all >effect the airfield & it's surrounding area. Part of the proposed land is "Green belt", but this doesn't seem to matter ! When asked the council said,"Green-belt land boundaries can be revised at anytime"!! What is the point of having "green-belt land", if they can do this ?

Once the Airfield is gone it will be lost forever!!!
